EuRaw Stories will be on the radio this weekend!
Please listen to 3CR, 855 AM on Saturday 20/02 between 11-12 for an interview with the show On Screen presented by Melinda O’Conner from Women In Film and Television.
Between 12-2 on the same day you’ll hear us in an interview on RRR 102.7 FM, during Film Buff’s Forecast, presented by the one and only Paul Harris, the Director of St Kilda Film Festival.
Lost and Found brings together the stereotypical, the uncommon and the highly coloured images of the ‘wild east’ of our imagination in an unconventional and fresh cinematic display.
Lost and Found combines six original short films by acclaimed directors from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Romania and Serbia. An animation frames and links the four short narrative films and the short documentary into a coherent Eastern European collage you won’t want to miss!
Is your image of Europe missing a big chunk of the ‘other Europe’, the one less present in travel itineraries and Melbourne cinemas? Or you caught a glimpse of this fascinating environment and want to further immerse in it?
A group of Melbourne cinema lovers have curated a delicious program of films from this other Europe to satisfy the craving of any film enthusiast.
Join EuRaw stories once a month for a good dose of the other Europe through films from Central, Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
You can now book tickets online through Bella Union. There’s just a limited number of tickets available so please get yours in time to avoid disappointment.
Looking forward to seeing you for a great night out on the 27th of February!
Please have a look at the amazing collection of award winning films we have put together for 2016.
